Cheryl Farnsworth - Biography
As Founder and President of Succeedia, LLC., Cheryl Farnsworth has helped many privately-held businesses in SE Wisconsin attract and retain top performing leadership teams for over 13 years. Her services include employee skills assessments, management training, business coaching and executive recruitment. Over the years, Cheryl has completed several business turn-arounds, increased client's revenue by over $13.8 million, hired more than 90 top performers, and added several hundred thousand dollars to her client's bottom line - each!
As a Certified Myers Briggs Consultant, Cheryl trains leaders to understand individual differences, identify inherent skills and talents, and optimize each employee's contributions. She partners with the business owner to evaluate their leadership team, ensure they've got the right people on board, and then coaches them to peak performance.
Cheryl grew up in Racine, WI. She graduated from UW-Whitewater in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in both Marketing and Psychology. She earned her MBA from UW-Milwaukee in 2002, and in 2009 Cheryl became a Certified Myers Briggs Consultant.
Cheryl's career began in Pharmaceutical sales, where she earned national awards for top sales growth. Cheryl eventually transitioned into management positions and began to undertake a series of business turnarounds. She has led as many as 15 direct reports and was able to return most businesses to profitability within six months through employee development and appropriate shifts in strategic direction.
After many successful years generating profits for her employers, Cheryl decided to start her own consulting and recruiting firm, and in 1997 founded Succeedia. Average client size has been $5-$100 Million in revenue, 30-150 employees, privately-held, family run businesses in both the manufacturing and service industries. At its peak, Succeedia grew to 6 employees, with branches in Milwaukee and Madison. In addition to Succeedia's core services, Cheryl often facilitates strategic planning for clients, participates in C-level decision making, and has Advisory Board experience.
Cheryl has presented to audiences ranging in size from 7 to 70, sharing best practices in effective leadership, executive recruitment strategies and using Myers Briggs to enhance performance. Cheryl has been an instructor at WCTC and guest speaker on Business Solutions AM radio. She is an active member of Mensa, TEMPO, SHRM and the Metro Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce. Volunteer experience includes Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Youth Education Advisory Board where she attends church regularly.
